DBS FHR has increased in Jan 2016!

Here is the first mortgage news update of the year. DBS FHR is increasing for the first time since its inception in 2014.

Tip:  What is DBS FHR?

DBS customers on the FHR home loan packages have been receiving letters from the bank informing them about the upcoming increase in their FHR rates.

FHR(12M&24M) will be increasing from 0.4% to 0.6875%. (While 12M FD rate did not change, 24M FD rate has increased from 0.55% to 1%)

FHR(18M) will be increasing from 0.5% to 0.6%.

FHR(12M&24M) = 50% of the 12M FD rate + 50% of the 24M FD rate

FHR(18M) = 18M FD rate
